Our story

Angle Walled Garden is our home and world. Nestled amongst the ancient woods of the Angle Estate, hidden from the salty sea winds that sweep this beautiful South Pembrokeshire peninsula. Once gardened by a team of 20 strong, when local food was not an option but a necessity, complete with heated peach houses. It fell out of horticultural use in the mid 20th century, where by cattle enjoyed its shelter until 25 years ago it fell to us, the Bean family, to take care of and restore to a productive working garden.

OUR PASSION...

Regeneration is at the heart of our practice working with nature to grow vegetables, fruit, flowers and honey for the local area and beyond.

We are passionate about everything we do here striving to make a difference however small. In keeping with the ancient walls this often means returning to traditional methods with the addition of modern technology for sustainability.

WHAT WE GROW...

We grow a fantastic range of fruit and vegetables for our family kitchen and to share with local restaurants who are as passionate as us about eating locally and seasonally.

We grow a few larger crops, enough to share with everyone, including Asparagus, Broad beans, New Potatoes, Cherries and of course Dried Flowers.

EVERLASTING FLOWERS...

I belive the origin of the flowers on the table are as important as the origin of the food on the plate. Commercial hot house flowers have been grown and treated for unnaturally yet greatly appealing long vase life yet at a cost to the environment. Our everlasting flowers achieve this in a different way. Grown from seeds using natural methods, dried using solar energy and arranged and packaged using 100% biodegradable materials. The magnificently vibrant colours are 100% natural... no dyes or synthetics in sight! ...our flowers will last in your home for months if not years and you don't even need to put them in a vase!
